Hello! Whew, I had a busy day at work yesterday. Now that I think about it, I’ve been crazy busy this whole month. I’m going to take a second and pat myself on the back for a job well done. There, that felt good.

I got on the bus last night and observed a guy calling someone on his cell. He said, “Hey Mike, it’s Mike” – The dude has a friend with the same name! I enjoyed that. I don’t have any friends that share my name. Now I’ve gone and made myself sad, ha ha! It’s probably for the best that I don’t know a lot of Bob’s. It’d be a lot of hanging out at each other’s homes, playing video games and contemplating not going out — I’m doing that now, I don’t need any help!

I borrowed the first Coldplay CD from my friend Walter yesterday. Man, they have some pretty good songs! I would describe their music as mellow gold (thank you Beck). Beck’s first album was titled Mellow Gold for those of you out of the loop. I’ve read comparisons that say Coldplay will be the next U2 in two more albums. How can people write crap like that?

I’ve had three contests this week. I’ve been keeping the bobborden.com staff very busy. I’ve read the reviews; some said this was the beginning of the end; others hailed me as a modern-day hero. I say, don’t believe everything you read and only half of what you see. What am I getting at? I don’t know. I think I’m just trying to fill this diary out, ha ha!

Yesterday’s winner of the Hong Kong Jackie Brown DVD is – Rick. Rick, send me your info. Congrats!

To round the week off nicely, I’m going to do something BRAND NEW! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you —BobBorden.com’s Instant Winner Contest – Two Items, two winners – in an instant! Everyone and I mean everyone on my message board is eligible to win. Good luck.

That’s it! Program note: This is the last diary until March 10th. I’m taking a week off to work on a pet project of mine. It’s something I’m pretty proud of and I’m hoping to raise a lot of money. I’m going to walk across Hoboken, NJ. What’s that? I was just handed a note from a bobborden.com staffer. Hoboken is only one-square mile? Hmmmmm. Well, I’ll walk slowly. Wow, that sure was a bad way to end things. “You suck, Borden!” OK, that’s better.

God Bless America.
