Late Night with Bob

If you're ever awake late enough to catch the wacky TV antics of David Letterman, you may have witnessed the popular talk show host's fascination with the show's mail room worker, Bob.
Bob, otherwise known as 1995 Kent journalism grad Bob Borden, is a great sport. On-air, he spilled his soul to Letterman about his lack of female companionship when he first moved to New York, then underwent several embarrassing encounters with women as Letterman played matchmaker. In the end, however, it was worth it, as Bob enjoyed a friendly conversation with actress Sigourney Weaver prior to her appearance on-stage. In December, "Santa Bob" heaved an aquarium of rotten eggnog out of the building's window onto the New York streets below. A few weeks later he was "promoted" to White House correspondent and, armed with $100 bills for bribes, was sent by Letterman to our nation's capital to find out "what's happening in Washington." While there, Bob bumped into Dan Rather, who graciously agreed to an on air interview.
