Traffic going into the Lincoln Tunnel was crazy tonight. I was trying to get back to NJ and it seemed like everybody else was too. I was on the same block for 30 minutes. If you ever come to the city and you happen to get stuck, you can't just sit there. Because if you give someone an inch, they will cut in front of you. Going into the tunnel, there are three lanes going into one lane. The three lanes aren't legal turning lanes but they are at rush hour (seemingly). Anyway, you just move very slowly, inch by inch. That is, until something opens up and you have to quickly move your car up or over. If that means blocking an intersection, so be it. During all of this, some guy hit my bumper, twice. I wanted to get out but I was blocked in by another car. The guy waved, meaning, everything is fine, so I waved back. Later, when I got out of my car, I saw two little indentations. Not a big deal but still, it's annoying. He was driving a big BMW. Such is life.

Well, it didn't go that smooth. I usually had to cry myself to sleep. Holy crap, I just saw a woman in a TV commercial eat a five dollar bill! Crazy.

Cara and I saw Robert Plant and Alison Krauss perform at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.




It was a really great show. Except during the quietest part of the performance when the idiots behind us starting talking about music theory. You honestly can't go anywhere anymore. There's always a group of people living in their own little world.

At 38 years of age, I can honestly say I'm glad I never got a tattoo. I like them but they're not for me.

I can't wait to shave tomorrow.

I haven't updated in a couple of weeks because I've been busy, busy, busy! Trying to find a place to live, working and planning a wedding is not easy. My number one requirement for a place to live is: The place must be located in a not-riot area. I say this because there was a mini riot on my street last week. It lasted all of three minutes but a riot is a riot. Here's some video (However, I grabbed my camera too late and nothing is happening):

Holy crap it's hot! Let me tell you a little story. At the end of summer, 2007 I threw out my old A/C unit because it was loud and not that cool. I didn't buy a new one when because I'm going to move soon and with the mild weather we've been having, I never thought about it. Now it's going to be in the 90's all week!

Here's the good part/pathetic of the story...I know of a magical place where there are four free air conditioners. And I can pick up one or all of them at any time. I was 5 minutes away from this magical place today and I was too lazy to go pick it up! So, I've spent my Sunday evening, sweating in my sweltering apartment and I have nobody to blame but myself.

Stupid, stupid, stupid!

I bought some of those Flavor-Ice popsicles and the damn things are taking forever to freeze! I can't win!

Yuk, this post is too negative! Let me think of something positive to say before I sign off. I love Cara! That feels great!
