I just spent the last 20 minutes working on a photograph for a new feature; "One Photo, Two Meanings." I was going to combine a regular feature, "Things I Did in 2007," with a special holiday photo. I hope they revoke my Photoshop membership card after that photo. I didn't want to give a stranger my iphone...I haven't reached the point where I want other people touching my phone and/or running off with my phone, ha ha.

I just had a lovely evening with my girlfriend. First, we saw the tree (we did the same thing last year too.). And then we had dinner at Fresco. Rosanna Scotto's (Fox channel 5 news anchor) family owns it. That's just a little bit of trivia, ha ha. We didn't see Rosanna but we did see a woman who looked like her, ha ha.

The food was great!

Ms. Pac Man story Update.

While telling my high score story to Late Show Writer Joe Grossman...

...he remembered his own Ms. Pac Man story. He didn't play a Ms. Pac Man machine like you'd find in an arcade, he found a generic version on the internet. The game Joe played was called Ms. Chompy. Ha ha!

The best purchase I made all year was my iphone. The thing is amazing. But I got a little worried yesterday when it didn't seem to be working correctly. I was making a call, I dialed the number and nothing. I thought maybe I didn't hit all the digits, so I hit the last digit over and over again. The number got larger and larger. After 30 seconds of panic, I realized I was using the calculator function.

So there you go.

Things I did today:

1. Picketed HBO from 10 AM to 2 PM.

2. Saw a movie from 2 PM to 4 PM (No Country for Old Men).

3. Watched 5 episodes of The King of Queens/ate a burrito for dinner.

4. Made a list of jobs where I wouldn't have to deal with the public (This list was made because I don't know how long this strike will last).

5. Realized there was no such job.

6. Wished I lived closer to my girlfriend. I live in Hoboken, she lives in NYC. It seems close but it's really not.

7. Posted this blog entry/bed.

It's getting hard out on the old picket line. 30 degrees, snow and a line so large, it was hard to move. But today at 12:30, picketing was GREAT because my girlfriend, Cara, stopped by with words of encouragement and hot chocolate!

In other news, I saw Steven R. Schirripa (Bobby "Bacala" Baccalieri) at a big & tall store today. He looked like a nice guy.

I went in to buy a new holiday shirt:

Doesn't it look nice? It better, it cost $100! Steven R. Schirripa shops there, I guess they can charge whatever the hell they want, ha ha. That's the most I've ever paid for one shirt - and I'm on strike...I've got NO money coming in. But I wanted to look nice for the holidays, at least one time, ha ha.

By the way, that photo is a failed attempt at a Christmas card. I ended up going in a different direction. OK, that's all I got.

Just a dusting but I'll take it. I wish this strike would end. In the past three days, I went to IKEA 3 times. I may need to get a job -- that's a scary thought.
