I watched a hamburger show on the Travel Channel recently. The host traveled to different burger stands and ate burgers. Great gig! One of segments featured smashed burgers. A ball of meat is smashed/flattened on a grill. This cooks the burger evenly and crisps the edges. Last night I gave it a try. The result? Success! First, I caramelized some onions. Next, I smashed the burgers in the same skillet. They were good!
In other news, I hate it when the lottery gets so huge, everybody and their grandmother has to chime in! Who cares?! Good luck to everybody but please, spare me the statistics on how I’m not going to win!
