Hello. I’m posting today’s diary late today because I was out on the town last night and because my site was down this morning. Anyway, last night — my friends Jay, Walter, Tom and I caught the Wilco concert across the street at Roseland. I like Wilco a lot. But after a long day, it’s hard to get into a festive mood. Plus, because we work so late and got there so late, we only heard 3 songs before they started playing encores. But, that’s our fault. I finally got to see Wilco and enjoyed them.

At Roseland, there are no seats. We were all the way in the back of the house and people were working their way in and out of the crowd. It was really distracting. People suck. Just deal with your bad spot, stop trying to one-up everyone else! I didn’t bring a camera. So I took this photo of myself holding the Wilco CD:

After that we had a few drinks and then I took off. I got back to Hoboken and stopped in Dunkin Donuts. I bought two chocolate donuts. That’s always a nice treat for yourself at 1:30. I bring this up because there was this girl in there. She got in her change purse and ordered one donut hole. I said to myself, are you f***ing kidding me? Good for her for not overindulging like yours truly but it just seemed like such a joyless act. Live it up, sweets! Order a bear claw, you know you want it!
