I’m going to begin today with a new feature to BobBorden.com. I call it: BobBorden.com Issues a Press Release. Here’s my statement:Leave Michael Jackson alone! Michael, you know where to reach me – keep your head up. That was BobBorden.com Issues a Press Release — Thank you, thank you very much.

How about the Blizzard of 2003?! I think we got about 20 inches of snow! I woke up yesterday morning with the daunting task of getting to work. But I’ve been through this before. Back in 1996, we got about the same amount of snow. So, I had a blueprint of how I’d go about the day, which was nice. It was cool walking through Hoboken at 7 am. I walked from my house to the PATH train without setting foot on a sidewalk. I just walked on the paved roads the whole way. I think I had to move once for a car. I made the best of it. I was dressed in layers, with earmuffs, a hat, boots, gloves and two scarves. I was so satisfied that I made it to work. I think I must be insane, ha ha.

I worked hard yesterday and by the time I was ready to go home, I was beat. I put all my garb on again and reversed my journey. I have to tell you that stepping over all that snow makes bobby thirsty! I walked about 5 or 6 blocks more until I found a store that was open. It was worth it, nothing like ending a Blizzard with a tall cool one. While I was walking around, I came across my car.

Bob’s car

My car is in that snow pile somewhere. The temperature should get above freezing for the rest of the week, so I’m not too worried about my ride. OH man, what a day!

That’s it for today’s diary and that’s it for BLIZZARD 2003!

God Bless America.
