I'm on the bus yesterday morning, listening to my ipod. Lindsey Buckingham's Holiday Road comes on and I'm really enjoying it. I think the guy's great! That got me to thinking, I wonder what he's up to now, working on stuff with Fleetwood Mac, solo stuff? Who knows. I get to the office (before work hours), check out the new releases on itunes and Lindsey Buckingham has a new single!
Lindsey Buckingham
How crazy is that?! It's like I have some sort of weird mind meld with Lindsey (just kidding). I'm going to hold off on the single and buy the album when it drops.
Bus in the morning, subway at night. There I was, standing on the platform, waiting for the train at the end of a long day. This is usually a miserable experience; it's very hot/humid, you can count the rats on the subway tracks, you get the idea. Now, factor in running into someone from work and having to make small talk until one of the trains come -- it's the worst! Don't get me wrong, I love my co-workers but standing there, sweating, talking about the exact same day, ugh. Sadly, this happens more often than I care to admit.
So, I'm waiting and sure enough, Amy (friend/co-worker), walks past and I think, OK, get the small talk ready. BUT, she just says hi, keeps walking across the platform and that's it! No B.S. - nothing. I was speechless. The trains weren't coming and we still didn't talk. What a great experience! For changing the whole social dynamic as we know it and for sticking to her guns, I'm naming Amy, bobborden.com's Person of the Week.

Way to go!
That's all I got.
