I have known about YouTube for a while now and never really checked it out because it just seemed dumb to watch bad quality stuff from crazy people. But then I did a few searches on bands and was very happy with what I saw; Van Halen/Motley Crue at the US Festival, GNR at the Ritz...it was like a trip to the Museum of Television & Radio without a membership. The future is now. Neat.
I was sitting around the other night with some friends and we got to talking about music. I mentioned that I've been having trouble finding Men Without Hats' Safety Dance...it's not on itunes. A few hours later, I check my e-mail and Dan sent me the song! How sweet is that?! The song is SO good too! For that thoughtful act I've decided to name Dan Fetter BobBorden.com's Person of the Week!
BobBorden.com's Person of the Week.
Way to go Dan!

This next story doesn't really have a great payoff, well, it doesn't have a payoff at all...it's more like a fly on the wall story. I was sitting in a local eatery enjoying a lovely salad last week and I saw an employee that was leaving work. He walked out from behind the counter, put his bag on the table, took out 3 big, empty bottles. Then, he filled them up with soda and left. So what do you make of that? He didn't do it on the sly, so is it their policy to let the workers take home that much soda? I wanted to tell the manager but didn't really feel like being THAT GUY on that particular day. I never really had a job so I don't know how the food industry works. Is that normal?
That's all I know.
