I'm back! Sunday night I went through my weekend so I could write Monday's diary (as usual) but the darndest thing hapened; I kept coming up empty. I came up empty because I didn't do anything...again. And with The Sopranos coming on 15 mintues from that thought, I had to bail. With the LONG work day on Monday, I was thinking that today's diary would be more of the same...UNTIL, I received a package in the mail from Mark G...Mark sent me some cool stuff:
Mark G sent Bob a T-shirt
and a Book!
Thank you Mark, you made my day and you made today's diary!
I did have one good chain of events this weekend:
1. I had such a lovely sandwich made for me at a local deli, very simple, just meat and cheese but damn good!
2. I rediscovered the joy of Miller High Life. I didn't drink to get drunk, I just had a couple to wash down the sandwich. SO GOOD. And...
3. VH1-C was airing a new Judas Priest concert that was GREAT!
The Priest!
(They still got it)
I also watched Behind the Music on Pantera and Ratt. The Pantera one was just shocking. They showed footage of Dimebag's killer walking across the stage...just amazing/crazy stuff. The guy (Dimebag) was just on stage, playing and some nut blew him away. Live for today...I forget that saying...that'd be a cool tattoo. I need to get some ink, its been a while. (ha ha)
I cleaned out my ipod the other day, the stuff I had on there was getting a little stale. I figure I'd just load it up with classic rock, well, I start putting songs in there and I'm a sucker for a good slow song, so I put a few of those on there too. Now, the mix is all off balance. I have a rockin' song on and then CRASH, a slow one...now I have to start all over again. Do you care about any of this? Ha ha, I know I don't.
That's it! Be real.
Best,
Bob
