When you dance as close to the flame as I do, eventually, you're going to get burned.
I had an interesting weekend. I went to the Hamptons, what's that, you've never heard of it? Playground to the rich and famous? Anyway...I love saying that, ha ha, so dumb. I went out to help my friends Walter and "Sally" move some stuff. Long story short: Walter and I are at the dump throwing away a HUGE mirror (It takes two people to lift this thing), the mirror breaks as we're putting it in the dumpster and it gouged out a chunk of my arm.
Minutes after the accident. I may be in the dirtiest bathroom in the world. Hard to believe the bathroom at THE DUMP would be so disgusting, ha ha. The guys helped me out and got a first aid kit. Walter made it happen though, I was a little out of it.
Here's a close up of my bloody arm. I can't remember when we took this but after the first aid, we drove to the hospital.
The stitches are in!
They took an x-ray because it was pretty deep. But there was no glass in my arm.
This is the last gross photo (I swear).
So there you have it, my very first set of stitches (3 of them). The older I get, the more my trips to the E.R. seem to be increasing...such is life. I have a couple of funny stories that I'll share with you on Tuesday. My arm hurts.
Best,
Bob
