A little bit of this, a little bit of that today (I fell asleep on my sofa for the better part of the evening - such is life.).

-- It was 61 degrees yesterday but when you're wearing shorts, it really feels like 50 degrees. Lesson learned.

-- My friend Jeff (Works on Nashville Star) told me a cool story about hanging out with Scott Weiland (STP/Velvet Revolver) & Duff (GNR/Velvet Revolver) Tuesday night. He said he bet Duff that he didn't know how to reach Izzy (Old GNR member)...Duff called him up and put him on the phone with Jeff, ha ha! Usually such a story would be taken in with one eyebrow raised but Jeff had a photo to back up his BS:

-- Speaking of Guns N' Roses, the NEW Guns N' Roses are gearing up for a tour soon. They're playing 4 dates (in May) in NYC to warm things up. I, along with friends Tom & Walter, spent close to two hours last Friday trying to buy tickets. We were not successful -- very frustrating! Ha ha...I wasn't into it at all until Tom explained it to me like this, "Come on! It's GNR!" You can't argue with that. AXL, I know you read this site, send me some tickets brother. BTW, the tickets were going for $63 each (WTF?!)!

-- I borrowed part of my friend Joe's CD collection yesterday.

If I can get turned on to some new music, that's what it's all about. Anyway, he didn't have a lot of stuff I didn't know about but he did have the Traveling Wilburys! Their CDs are out of print and not on itunes. You can get 'em for $20 but who's going to spend that? Thanks Joe!
