Let's keep 'em short and sweet this week.
Friday night kicked off my cat-sitting duties for my friends Kipley & Karen. It sounds like a drag but it's really pretty fun. They're in another part of town, it sort of feels like a vacation, ha ha. I fed the cats, played with the one that wanted to be played with...on my way out of the building, the owner (Victor) spotted me and gave me a look, ha ha. He knew I didn't belong in his building. We talked for a little bit about the weather, his native Puerto Rico, how America is his home now, his kids, grandkids, etc. I know you think I'm being sarcastic but I really enjoyed talking to him.
I made NO plans this weekend...nothing. I grabbed some dinner, watched some TV and that was it.
Saturday I woke up around 10 and for the life of me, can't remember what I did. Around 3, I did my laundry. Nothing to report there...except, this woman...this woman decided to talk to her insurance company about problems she was having, while I was folding my laundry. This is what life has become now -- I have to hear about other people's crap! Like I don't have enough on my own plate! F her!
Saturday night...Saturday night I discovered the meaning of life, it might be easier if I tell you what happened:

In other words, it's all B.S. --
Sunday, thanks to the time change, I woke up at 12. I didn't know what the hell to do with myself. So, I decided to drive to Nutley to have some pizza for lunch. I get there, the place where I used to do my laundry, they're back open under new management! Holy crap this is great news! My pizza was great, the air was fresher and all is right with the world (sort of). Guess where I'm doing my laundry next weekend? It's the little things.
I hit B & N, bought a book and headed to the A & P. That's it!
That wasn't so short and sweet. I'll make up for it tomorrow, ha ha. Have a great day!
Love,
Bob
