In 2006, with all we know about home style and home organization, there's no need for clutter. When I moved here almost eleven years ago (yikes!), I brought the clutter with me, ha ha. I had everything in that moving truck, what the hell did I know?! Now, I only want what I need. I got rid of a space-stealing desk a couple of months ago and yesterday morning, I decided to get rid of my desk chair.

The street givith and
the street takith away
(Thank goodness)

This was the chair that Walter and I found on the street in NYC a few years back. I did some research to replace the wheels and brought her back to life. Walter and I joked around that some guy probably used it for some kind of male modeling shoot (I kept that as clean as I could, ha ha!). It is still a great chair but it just became yet another place for cat hair to build up. So long chair!

At dinner last week, the topic of comedian Soupy Sales came up (Yes, this is what 30-somethings talk about). I interjected my only knowledge on the subject and that was; Soupy's sons were in David Bowie's band, Tin Machine. This got a HUGE reaction at the dinner table (Hey, it's my diary, I can lie if I want to!). Now, I have Tin Machine on my mind. I remember liking their 1989 CD. The next day I check itunes, it isn't there. I check online, it's there but I'm not crazy about paying for shipping. I hit the local CD store, nothing. So, last night after work, I walked down to the Virgin Megastore. I found it right away and decided to look around. I think I was in there for two hours!

Richard Ashcroft, Ramones &
Tin Machine

After a listen, I'm glad I picked it up again, it's good. I left the Megastore around 9:15...9:15 in Times Square...There were people EVERYWHERE! I hate that, they're all looking up too! Stopping right in front of me, yuk! I got out of there fast!

OK, that's all I got! I'm going to listen to some tunes!

Rocking 'n' Rolling 4-ever,

Bob
