Yesterday morning got off to a rough start! I woke up crazy late, missed the 9:30 bus, caught a 9:45 and made it to work with a few minutes to spare. It wouldn't have been a big deal for me to be late, especially since we're not taping this week but that's not how I work. I was off my game because I didn't follow my routine. Stinks.

Hey, speaking of routines, my friend/writer Steve Young has a routine of practicing the guitar before his day begins. When I pass out the morning assignment, I usually find him strumming something lovely. Keeping in mind that I was in a rush yesterday morning and that Steve was recording his practice session...listen to this (Listen to the whole thing):

Today is Friday! That's such a nice word. I went to dinner with my friends last night, the occasion? Jay's birthday, of course!

A great time was had by all...I ALMOST ordered the Kobe Beef ($100) but decided against it. I had a 16 ounce filet mignon instead, mmmmmmm, meat.
