I downloaded a song (Track 4) from itunes not so long ago by the group Sigur Rós. This is from Wikipedia: "The album's vocals are recorded in a constructed language the band calls "Hopelandic," which consists of meaningless syllables and resembles scat singing. Most of the syllable-strings sung by vocalist Jón Þór Birgisson are repeated many times throughout each song, and often throughout the whole album."

Isn't that crazy?! Crazy good, everytime the 'Track 4' song plays on my ipod, it just brings a tear to my eye, it's very melancholy. They've been around for a while but I just found them.

I was SO close to going out last night (having a few brews). My friend Walter really wanted to do something. But I wasn't in the mood to hang in a bar. Plus, there's always that hard bus ride home where I have to use the men's room...I couldn't do it.

Instead, with the great weather we had the last couple of days, I went home, opened up my windows and sucked it that fresh Hoboken air. Very relaxing, very peaceful...until you hear some jackass on his Nextel walkie-talkie. YOU know what I'm talking about!
