Today's diary is an exercise in writing nothing, ha ha. You have your great weekends and then sometimes you just need to chill. I chilled. Starting off on...

Friday night I got home and caught up on my Tivo viewing. I like that Garden State movie. I think a while ago I said it didn't do anything for me but it grew on me, what can I say. Later that night is when I first noticed my little pile of bills/taxes that need to be paid.

Saturday I got up early, for what I don't know. I got my laundry together, looked at the pile of bills again and walked out the door. The laundry mat was empty, a little too empty if you ask me (I don't know what that means).

A couple of weeks ago, I got these new sofa pillows from Wal-Mart. They were beyond being on sale...they may have given them to me for free. I get them home, rip off the tags and now I have to live with this:

Is this what life's all about?!

But I don't blame it on the pillows, sadly, it was user error. Are you still reading this?

Saturday night more of the same...still looking at the bills. I walked around Hoboken a little bit. I caught the repeat of SNL...Prince was on, I missed the first song (Fury) the last time he was on.

Sunday I woke up feeling great, hard to explain...My Dad always said to me that today is first day of the rest of your life...I forget that sometimes. I thought about going here and I thought about going there but the dollar bill signs in front of "here" and "there" just made me want to lay low. Everything costs money...speaking of...my bills. I finally paid them...turns out, it wasn't such a big deal...but it did bring together the old diary nicely.

I just watched The Clash documentary - Westway to the World, damn that was good. OK, that's all I know.

Have a great day!

Best,

Bob
