My friends Walter, Tom, "Sally" and I saw the new Beastie Boys film last night!

Beastie Boys

Here's the deal, they gave 50 0f their fans video cameras and let them do the shooting when they played Madison Square Garden. Walter, was one of those 50 people! How cool is that?! I really liked it! I will say that during the first 4 or 5 songs of the film, they REALLY let you know that this is being shot by amateurs...after that, all gravy. No spoilers here...they really did some cool/smart things with that footage. Walter's name is in the closing credits! There's even a quick shot of him...very cool. After the film, "Sally" took this photo:

Not the Beastie Boys
[L to R]: Bob, Walter, Tom

Ha ha...here's the thing about that photo, no one really put up a fight, ha ha! We're all in the mid-30's range.

Before the film, we stopped off at some quick tourist trap s@#t hole called Pizza Villa. Walter got a bottle of soda with his food. The soda was flat and not very good. He went to the manager to exchange the soda and this neanderthal was just looking at the bottle. I heard him say to Walter, "You opened this?" Oh my...Walter got pissed...I yelled at the guy, 'you're not going to exchange the soda!' Dumb piece of crap! F YOU Pizza Villa (On the corner of 42nd and 8th). The number one thing they should have taught you was customer service! Fing A-holes! On another note, the pizza wasn't bad, ha ha. There's always a joke somewhere, thank goodness. F them.

Hey, it's Friday...finally the end of this crap week! But I'm fine. That's it! Have a great weekend.

Best,

Bob

PS Savvy bobborden.com readers will notice that I didn't edit the curse word on the Beastie Boys' movie poster. That's a first! Enjoy this foray into my first PG-13 diary, ha ha! We're too uptight in this country...can I get a witness?!
