Let me tell you about Friday...the biggest thing I did on Friday was NOT going to Atlantic City. I wasn't needed at work (thanks Eric/Justin) and the temptation to do something like AC was high (very high). I'm glad I didn't go...I fought with the beast and won! And I didn't lose money -- that's a good feeling. My Friday was spent relaxing!

Saturday my taxes came in and boy, was I really glad I didn't gamble. I don't owe a lot but I do owe. Also in my mail...my Mom sent a letter with a doodle attached:

Ha ha, I thought that was funny. The thing is, that looks exactly like my Mom, ha ha!

Saturday - more chillin'! I did my laundry, went to the A & P and did some shopping. I hit Target, Linens & Things and Pier 1 Imports. I bought some stuff at Pier 1...they gave me a bag that made me feel less than manly:

What else, what else...Oh, I cleaned out my closet...excuse me for a second...YAWN! OK, I'm back. I gathered up a couple of bags of stuff I don't wear anymore and gave it to charity -- good for me. There must be Big & Tall people down on their luck...Eh, that was almost a joke. I also found my favorite tie:

I bought this about 10 years ago when I went across the pond with my friends Paula and Lorraine (nothing happened). Oh the times we didn't have, ha ha! But I got that tie.

My medicine chest, the damn magnet doesn't catch anymore...I've taped/glued it until the cows came home. Sunday morning it wouldn't close for the last time, in a rage, I took it off the wall and went to buy a new one. Well, new ones run around $50! I put it back up later in the day, ha ha. Fits of rage usually don't work.
