I just don't know what to say about the south now. My thoughts/prayers are positive but it's so hard for me to comprehend what's going on. That said, I'm going to move on to my daily trivia but I have to say, I feel slightly guilty for any "problems" I may have. For example:

So I get home last night, turn on the tube and my Directv doesn't turn on. In my world, this is a MAJOR problem. I turn it on from the base and figured out that it's my remote and not the unit itself that's busted. I replace the batteries, hit all the buttons, nothing. OK, I put the batteries in the wrong way, my fault. I put the batteries in the right way and nothing. I turn off the unit to reset the machine, this takes about ten minutes, I wait...and wait. It comes back on and the remote still doesn't work! Now I'm thinking the batteries aren't making contact with the metal thing...so I pull out the metal spiral thing so it will make contact. Nothing. I'm seconds away from making a phone call and then I noticed the tiny switch on the remote that reads: "Satellite/TV." Guess where the switch was? That's right, it was on 'TV!' Whew! After all that, there was nothing on. Such is life.

How cool is that? I know two people that have photos of snakes around their necks...what are the odds? I may be crossing a line but the Pam photo is a little sexy.

OK, That's it! I'm cutting it short because I have a feeling everyone's gone for the long weekend. Hey, it's September! Wow.
