Bad news out of Ohio yesterday. The smallest Borden, Max, was playing around with his brothers/sister, he was dancing, did some kind of split and he broke his leg! It was a high break, the femur, I believe. Here's a photo:

Ouch!
(80% of Max is in a cast!)

He just turned four. Damn, I feel bad for the little guy, not to mention everyone else that has to take care of him (I don't think he can move on his own). I'm on the fence about driving back this weekend to see him. But there's nothing I can do to help him. I don't know. Get well soon Max, I'm thinking about you.

I had a lovely dinner with my friend Tiffany last night.

We ate Indian food and just had a fun time. The evening ended with my yelling in her car that yes, there is sour cream in Tuna Casserole! This is what 30 somethings talk about -- don't ever get old. Anyway, I was right, there is sour cream in tuna casserole. We were talking about the families we each may have someday and trying to expose our kids to as much as possible. She brought up how her mom made cubed steak a lot and how that didn't really broaden her horizons. This was all very light hearted, of course. Then I brought up that every now and then my Mom would try to slip a casserole by us. My Dad hated casseroles and I hated them because they were creamy, gooey globs of mystery meat, usually held together with sour cream. She knew I didn't like sour cream, she always said, "you can't even taste it!" BUT I COULD TASTE IT MOM -- I COULD TASTE IT! Holy crap, I think I need to see a shrink, I just had a breakthrough.

Mom, I LOVE YOU! (Trust me, I HAD to say that)

OK, that's it!

Hugs,

Bob
