Some days, I write the diary and some days, the diary writes me. I don’t know what the hell that means. I could use this space to talk about the 100 stressful things that happened to me on Monday or I could talk about the one great thing that happened. As I don’t have a lot of time to write this, I’ll talk about the one good thing.

So I’m sure you know what an intern does. It’s a lot of work for no pay. Every semester we get a new batch and the wheels keep rolling. I was an intern back in the day (1993, ouch). Anyway, one of our interns this semester, Cyrina, her uncle happens to be Rudy Sarzo, bassist for Quiet Riot and Whitesnake…among others.

It’s an autographed photo of Ronnie James Dio’s band! Dio, Rudy, Craig, Simon & Scott all signed their names, how sweet is that?! Dio wrote: “Bob, The Last in Line, Ronnie James Dio” Ha ha! I grew up on this music! I saw Quiet Riot and Dio in Pittsburgh, damn good shows too. Here’s a closer look at the photo:
