OK, remember 'that great thing' I was going to do on Friday? Well, it fell through. My friends and I were going to celebrate my friend Jay's birthday but Jay got sick. Instead of dinner and a midnight movie, I had Mexican food and watched a DVD. BUT something somewhat exciting did happen. I discovered a new juice, straight from Mexico, I give you:

BOING!

Isn't that a great name for a juice drink? It was pretty good too, it was mango, mmmmmmm, mango. And that was Friday! Boing!

Saturday I woke up around 10:00. The rain was coming down and I had no desire to leave the apartment or take a bath for that matter. It was; computer, TV, video games -- all day! It was pretty good. My friend Kipley was screening his movie at 8:00 so I got a shower around 7:00. I wasn't going to go (as is the norm with me) but I pushed myself and actually made it out the door.

I got there, met up with Kipley and Karen (Kipley's wife) -- my friend Tiffany (Kipley's sister) was there too. The flick was pretty good. It was shot well and most of the acting was pretty good but it fell short in the script. But what can you do, hey, I never made a 90-minute film. Not a lot of people can say that. Don't give up Kipley!

After the flick, Tiffany and I walked across the street to eat some Indian food. Oh, it was very good. We haven't hung out for a while but we didn't miss a beat. We went to my place and talked most of the night. I didn't get to bed until 4 AM...5 AM with the time change, ha ha. It was a good night.

Sunday I woke up at 1:00. I had to do my stupid laundry but was not in the mood. I sucked it up and headed over to the Laundry Depot in Jersey City. It was pretty painless and I was glad to get it done. I walked to Target and then to the A & P. I was back by 5 and I just chilled the rest of the night.

So, that's it. What a short weekend but fun. Have a good one.

My best,
Bob

NEW BONUS FEATURE, I call it: SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, here we go...Saturday night, I'm talking to Karen (Kipley's wife) and we hit a quiet spot in the conversation and then she says, "So how are the cats?" It's not a pet peeve that I get asked that, I just always think it's an interesting question...I'm not 100% sure why I think that. Maybe I think it's interesting because I don't have enough going on in my life, that someone has to ask about my cats? But maybe the cats are part of my life? Later in the evening, Tiffany asked the same thing! I don't know...SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.
