A little bit of this and a little bit of that.

I get to work yesterday, put down my bag and took the change out of my pocket. To my amazement, I discovered that the breakfast place gave me three Texas quarters!

Amazing!

I mean, what are the odds?! And that my friends is the worst story you’ll probably read on the internet today, ha ha.

I had a long one yesterday but it was a better day than Wednesday. I had plans last night to meet a friend for drinks but it didn’t work out. I was at work too late and by the time I got back to Hoboken, I don’t know, it just would have been too little time to hang out. Rain check please.

I was in the city waiting for a light to change. A woman with two suitcases hailed a cab, the cab stopped, she wheeled her bag to the back of the cab, I looked at her and offered to bring her the other bag…she motioned that it was cool, she’ll get it. When she walked back over, she thanked me and said, “Cheers.” A very English thing to say except, I don’t think she was from England. I didn’t hear an accent. That bothered me.

I got home kicked off my shoes, turned on the tube and nothing. Lol…My Directv is off now, ha ha – I got nothing! Ha ha ha ha ha ha (send help). Bordonics starts now!

I just got a haircut, I think last weekend? Anyway, I felt like I needed a haircut all day yesterday. Maybe I’ll double gel to get things under control.

I finished Long Way Round on Wednesday. It’s SO amazing and I’m SO inspired! It was such a smart idea. Ewan used his celebrity to make a dream of his and his friend come true. They also did stuff for charity in the process. 20,000 miles, around the world…It was without question, the most interesting/entertaining TV/DVD experience I’ve had in years…YEARS! I bought my copy from Amazon UK, it played fine on my x-box and computer…maybe you should pick it up too.

Time for a new feature to bobborden.com, I call it: Bob’s Birthday Calendar. Let’s see who’s celebrating a birthday this weekend:

Happy Birthday Saddam Hussein!

Saddam is turning 68 and he’s never looked or felt better. Stay tuned for the next installment of Bob’s Birthday Calendar!

That’s it! Have a great one!

Best,

Bob
