If we both go into today’s diary with the attitude that it probably won’t be so great, it WON'T be THAT bad. Keep that in mind.
Friday I got out of work early and was home by 5:30. I had some Mexican food and then passed out until 8:30! I must have been tired. For the life of me, I can’t remember what I did after that.
Saturday I woke up around 10:30 and it was cold and dark out. After the 60-degree tease earlier in the week, the darkness just sucked the life out of me. I left my apartment around 4:00, did my laundry at the Laundry Depot in Jersey City, hit the A & P and went to Target. I bought an animated Star Wars DVD that aired on the Cartoon Network…I’m not a Star Wars nerd but I heard my boss, Justin (he’s a Star Wars fan), say it was pretty good.

Star Wars
Clone Wars
It’s the story between Episode II & III – pretty smart idea. And it’s done SO well, it’s crazy. I enjoyed it more than the movies. It was only $15, a bargain.
I watched Drugstore Cowboy (such a great flick) and called it a night.
Sunday I woke up around 9:20. I watched the Remaking of Taylor Dayne on VH1, talked on the phone for a little bit and then left my apartment. It was another cold/dark day. I walked to the bookstore, the record store, another record store and then walked home.
I made the WORST dinner in years. I got out the George Forman grill and cooked up some chicken. For a little extra something, I used some of Emeril’s marinade. The chicken with the marinade was tasteless. I might as well have been eating imaginary food. I also cooked up some Campbell’s low-salt chicken noodle soup:

Disgusting!
I had Crunch Berries and a vitamin instead. Bad dinner to cap off a bad weekend. But if you ask me in person how my weekend went, I’ll tell you this: “I went down to my shore house to get things ready for the season.” Why bore people with reality, ha ha.
That’s it!
Best,
Bob
