If Sarah McLachlan’s CD, Surfacing, doesn’t bring you to tears then I don’t want to know.

Tuesday night, I finished the diary, watched a little more TV and then felt myself going off into sleepy land. I should have got up at that very second but…I didn’t. I woke up to the garbage men banging the cans like there’s no tomorrow at 6 AM! I HATE that feeling so much! Just a wasted night of sleep. I didn’t even have a blanket, I just went out – I felt like a crack whore waking up on a park bench. Yuk…tonight will be better.

Yesterday I had a photo in the diary of my window at work; I was talking about the sunshine. I forgot to mention the billboard across the street. They’ve been advertising a Rod Stewart concert that happened in July of 2004!

OK, WE GET IT!

Change this billboard now! I like Rod Stewart as much as the next guy but it’s getting on my nerves. I’ve seen the same thing out that window for the past year and I know I’ve talked about this before but COME ON!

How about that beautiful day yesterday? I made it outside, once, at 5:15 and it felt so good. I hope we get some of that this weekend, that’d be so sweet!

Per a message in my ‘comments’ section (at the bottom of every diary), I’ve added a link if you want to send me an e-mail. A woman (Lisa) wanted to give me a rap doll but didn’t know how to reach me: Now you know. But, I have to say, please don’t abuse the e-mail link. You should only e-mail me if, A: You’re a single woman in the tri-state area, B: You want to give me something, C: You’re a single woman in the tri-state area and you want to give me something. How hard is that?

I was on the elevator yesterday; I looked down and saw a penny. It was heads down. Superstition says picking up such a penny is bad luck. Then I looked to the right and there were two more pennies! One heads up, the other two, down. I said to myself, screw this – it’s bad luck! Then I thought, what the hell, that’s three cents! …OK, that’s all to that story. That was pretty lame – they can’t all be winners ya know!

That’s it!

All my best,

Bob
